Jesse Korman Yale Class of 2016

I am an Ecology and Evolutionary Biology lab assistant currently researching the relationship between a protist’s (Tetrahymena) environmental conditions and its rate of movement into and out of new environments (dispersal). I maintain and sample experimental cultures of Tetrahymena​ to determine how how their rates of movement interact with environmental conditions to generate patterns in their population dynamics.
